Re: JEGS Disabled Veteran Discount

As a shop owner and a vet myself I would be happy to extend my wholesale account with summit (ATech motorsports) to any disabled vets. I have other wholesale accounts also that don't have retail channels so you guys probably wouldn't have heard of them. My father is a disabled vetran and we both appreciate all who serve!

PM me and I'll send you my email/phone number. Through my shop I accept all major CC's and all my wholesale accounts can drop ship directly to you.

Amsoil too!

Re: JEGS Disabled Veteran Discount

not here in temple, I went in to buy a 48 inch tool chest and when I asked the cashier asked to see my VA id i hadnt updated it with my service disconnected yet, so she said I didnt get it, even though I had a latter from the VA saying I was awarded disablity, even talked to the store manager and she said it was corprate policy you had to be disabled and it had to be on your ID. I was pissed, I guess all the other vets who put years of their lives on hold to serve this country dont matter.

Re: JEGS Disabled Veteran Discount

Yeah you guys should call corporate or something. Our home depot gives any military 10%. Never had a problem.

I have a Burger King down the street from my shop that does 50% to all vetrans - every day. I take my dad there for lunch and we get two value meals for like $8!!!

Manger said it's below their cost - but it's least they can do. With BK it's owner choice to participate.

Re: JEGS Disabled Veteran Discount

I've used the Jegs discount and I"m not disabled. They just ask for proof of service. You need to fax them relevent information and they link it to your log-in account. the prices you see then reflect the discount. Some items it's amazing, some not so much but just about everything has a discount.

Re: JEGS Disabled Veteran Discount

Wow- that's cool. I kind of feel bad asking, but as a service connected disabled vet- it's hard living on 1/6th the income you're used to. V.A. pension isn't much... believe me, I have to plan out getting new tires or any other expensive things a year in advance etc.
