miniram fuel rails

I am looking for the difference between the f-bosy fuel rails, and the vette fuel rails for a tpi car.

On the tpis website the f-body is not pictured, so I was wondering if some of you know the difference, and if I can make them work on a vette.

the vette kit looks almost the same as the hsr fuel rails on the web sites, and like I could make them how I want, but I am not sure if the f-body are the same just set up different, or totally different all together.

Thanks

Re: miniram fuel rails

i think its on which side the lines run. on my TA the fuel lines are on the drivers side. The mini ram fuel rails sit at angle and tighten up to the intake in order to keep the injectors seated. The rails are expensive but buying twice is more expensive. Just my opinion.

Re: miniram fuel rails

Thanks, I'll see when I get it, but I think they weld up the ends of the fuel rails to make them tpis dedicated, and I hate it. I am also considering changing it, or some how using the stock fuel rails to make something before i pay their outrageous price for some fuel rails.

Re: miniram fuel rails

I believe the fuel rails are the same between the kits. It's the thermostat housing / water neck that is different. The vette water neck will not work on an FBody.

You could always call TPIS and ask if there are any other differences between the two.

Re: miniram fuel rails

The only difference between the vette and F body fuel rail that I know of is the return and feed lines are nearly straight and short on the Vette fuel rails and the F body feed and return lines are longer and angled towards the driver side.
