Hey Grace! I guess you're online too! You know I gotta go with silver!!

What color should I get on my next car? It will be a 97 Z28 or an LT1 Formula. Does anybody know where I can get one?

I'll call you soon Grace!!

I'm not really a fan of any of them, but if I had to pick it one it'd be silver. I did like Woodrow Joseys car out there. The yellow LT1 running 10.60s.

BTW, if your car was out there, either of you, I've probably got it on my camera. Hell, I've probably even have you two on my camera.

are you painting one? seeing as how yellow is only on the 02 i would have to go with the silver; although the dark blue is nice the silver shows the lines much better.

although, black just looks mean as hell so i guess it would depend on the look. why not buy one of each to solve your problems!

Well, it's not one of the choses, but I had to share: I saw the most beautiful 4th gen 98+ Trans Am with charcoal g/fx and a sort of burnt orange body. It almost made me want a 4th gen, but then my friend and me started calculating the monthly payments... Have fun with that LS1! (320hp and 28mpg! Woah!)

Hey Matt,
It's wierd to see pics of my car on the net without me putting them there! I took some pics of your car and ours together too. Hopefully I'll get them up sometime soon. How often do you wash your car? It's always clean when I see it. I washed mine Saturday (the day before the pics were taken) but the it got kinda dirty again on the drive up there. If you see a pic of a guy with a white "Senior 02" shirt it's me.
By the way, nice car again. Every time I see it I have to pull myself away from it

Grace, um, get SUNSET ORANGE METALLIC! That's my #1 vote so far!!! You know that already though

In the picture reflecting off your car, I'm the third from the left. I was there with those three people and my girlfriend who I don't see in this picture.

I did wash it on friday before coming up there, but I let it sit in a garage those two nights. So it didn't get rained on or even pollened on.

It did have severe swirlmarks where the rear had been repainted and was not properly buffed. I'm going to take it up to R&L's off of I96 tomorrow and see how much they charge for a wetsanding and buffing. Going to finally try and get the orange peel out.

I'll throw my pictures up sometime, don't remember seeing anyone with a 02' senior shirt on, but I was only there for about 4 hours. If you were in the bleachers, I probably didn't see you.

Ahhh, you have a garage! That's not fair, you're cheating. Mine stays outside all the time where there's rain, pollen, cats, sap, dirt, and EVERYTHING else it seems like.
I was there from about 11:30 to 4:00 and then I went to Columbus for a little while before coming home. Me and Grace we're all over the place, in the bleachers, standing in front of the fence, looking at all the cars that were there, and in the concession area (gotta love those cheeseburgers).
I'm looking for a 4th gen now. When I find one I'm going to give my 91 to my dad and let him take care of it (and pay for the insurance and matinance) and then in a few years when I get my 4th gen payed off I'll buy it back from him. He wants to sell the GTA and buy an LS1 car but I want to keep the GTA!!
Matt, do you hate Fort Valley as much as I do? That place is a dump and the street signs are set up right.

My car was only in a garage for two days. I wish I had a full time one. My brother and dad have first shot at it. Once my brother moves out, I can take his.

If you were near the fence I probably have you guys somewhere on there, I took alot of car shots.

Yea, I hate Fort Valley. I actually worked at discount auto there for two days, not a fun place to work at. There is a good machine shop there though. I don't go to the track through that way though, I go a different route.

Also, meant to tell you your wheels were looking pretty good, I guess they did polish out pretty good.

Thanks for the compliments on the wheels. I want to go outside sometime and use a block sander to get them a little more even. They can never look TOO good! Also keep in mind that they had 100 miles or so of brake dust on them and it kinda tool a little shine away probably.
I saw that Discount Auto in Fort Valley. It's wierd cause it's attached to another building.
I went that way because my sister lives off of 96 (I believe it's called Housers Mill Road on the east side of I75) and it's just a straight shot to the dragstrip.
Let me know when another show or something comes up!!

I was out there. Red bird red windows in the bracket race, yes the very very slow 20.85 bird. We believe the cam is going. With all to mods it should run mid to high 16s. (I have been told stock 2.8s run mid 17s) Means new V-8 soon.

Well, my battery died in my camera, so could not get any pictures. Did you by chance snap any of my bird. I would love to snag them from you for my site.

Thanks!
Shannon

Oh and I have always liked silver 4th gen birds. Although, the yellow looks really good and is a more rare color.

For a short time at the end of the day I sat behind a blond girl in a white tank top. I remember she asked if my boyfriend's son was my little boy. Was that you?

ok back to the 4th gen T/A. I have seen and fell in love with a blonde chick that drives a 99 T/A with black badges. Get the white and black combos with some 17" WS6 chrome rims. It would look sweet. But kind of hard to keep clean. Puls you don't see to many white T/A's out there. Just my opinion. If you want to paint it I would go with a rootbeer color from House of Kolors. That is such a nice color. It kind of looks like the Prowler Orange but a little darker.

Redraif,
Between me and Grace I bet we have a picture or two of your car, just gotta get them developed.
The blonde girl in front of you, was she screaming at the Ford and the import to go home? If it was Grace in front of you then you MUST have heard her say that a few times
20.85, yeah, I saw that!! At least you had the guts to go out there!

Next time you guys have to get out there and bracket race with me. I actually wasn't in the stands during the ford and import's runs. I was wandering around trying to find out how to get my dail time set for the bracket racing. I did not have a clue what it would run till I TNTed.

If you have some shots of my car that would be great. I got one shot from a club member. I was down on the track about to go.

Thanks!

Well, I can't seem to find it at the moment. Did find a good picture of guy that lives in my towns car.

Woodrow built the engine and I believe most the car.

Well, there are a few of us girls around.

The window tint has caused great debates in the past. Its definately a love it or hate it. When I first saw it on a car I knew I would have it on mine no matter what it took. Love at first site. I saw it on a show car. I spent 3 wks tracking down someone who would do it. The illegal part kept chasing them away.

I was actually impressed the import and the mustang decided to run with all the F-bodies. Sad part is they beat quite a few.

Well I guess it wasn't you I talked to, oh well. No X on the tank top. was hoping I could put some faces on you guys. I didn't meet too many people this time. I can't believe we wasted the whole day running in circles and getting sun burnt. I think we need shirts with pics of our cars on the front. Seems everyone has seen my car. They only recognize me if I'm in it. Heck everyone thinks its my boyfriend's car. A few people came up and congratulated him on a good bracket race. I guess its because you can't see in the car. I tried to keep the windows down, but they wouldn't let me. I was hot, since you can't race with the AC on, and kept forgetting to roll them up.

Did you hear what the announcer was saying about your car... with little red riding hood and the big bad wolf?

Yea, that honda out there was running 12.60s. I didn't see any fast mustangs out there, other than that older LX. I was expecting there to be some MUCH faster mustangs out there. Last august there was one running in the 8's and one in the 9's. Both can be driven on street if they choose to.

I heard after the fact about the red riding hood comments. I also heard he called me Shawn Hag Instead of Shannon Haag (long A).

Oh well, see if they would let you run with the windows down. I just have the car sound proofed too well. I wish I could say my massive engine and exhaust drowned him out. Maybe next time.

Yeah I was there. We stayed with the car till they judged it. I had no gotten there for Sat, so we walked around and check the other cars out. Sorry I missed you.

We turned the filler neck so that it comes up thru the fender well in the rear cargo box:

Black is more of a sleeper color to not attract attention. It's classy, but not "look at me" obnoxious. Red, yellow and orange are flashy colors, and if I were to spend over $20,000 on a newer T/A, I wouldn't want to blend in with all the other cars on the road! ...But that's just me! ~Chris
