Can't decide on what to do so I figured I'd start a pole. Origianlly iwas thinking of painting hte valve covers to match the block and polishing the fins and camaro part. They were black and polished, and the black needed to be touched up. I bead blasted the valve covers today and the raw grew on me. I can't decide to leave them raw and polish the fins/camaro or paint them orange and polish the fins/camaro

How i bought them...

they look much better raw IMO. chevy orange painted valve covers never look good.

I think that if you did the "Camaro" in orange that would look pretty sweet. :lala:

I like the top machined off, and the rest in wrinkle paint, like it was.

That raw look is awesome, and like sean said -painting the camaro orange would look killer. A couple of chrome breathers and a nice loom to neaten up the wires would also complement the overall look of the engine as well. -btw what color is your engine bay? -im guessing black since your car in your sig is black/ in that case if it is jet black ill def push the orange on the camaro but if the bay is in need of paint the raw would fit much better imo/

ok here goes the paint...

the car is metallic green sometimes, the engine bay is factory 86 dark blue, the car will be returning to that dark blue as well. I was thinking about doing the engine compartment semi gloss black tho...
