did you make the trim plate with all the gauges in it yourself. Awesome. " Don't crush 'em restore 'em."

Christ, that was a nasty car! You've really had your work cut out for ya, but it seems to be coming along very nicely. Nice work, most I think would've passed on that one.

Looks perfect EXCEPT for that coolant overflow bottle.

I don't know, I just gazed at the clean, shiny engine bay and then saw that thing and I almost gagged myself because it's sad how much the previous owner let that thing go, it looks like a big grease ball.

Other than that I love everything you have done to both cars, and i'm one of the rare few who loves the "balloon" tires in the back, pure sexy!

yeah, i know, whenever i get the extra $15 or so i'll grab a new coolant bottle, but it's really not a priority right this moment.

I know this has prob already been discussed, but where did you get that new shifter and boot from? It kinda looks like the ones out of the 80's Corvettes.

the boot i bought off of a guy on the board here who makes them for replacements for the firbirds, the **** is just a leather wrapped **** i found in some early 90's oldsmobile. and the shifter itself is stock. i'm gonna grab a gate for it from B&M soon though.

The drums would probably make more sense if the car was being painted red...or red trim or something else red lol, but man...i love those gauges. Awesome job with it, reminds me of my hard nights in the driveway doing the same crap!

I've gotta admit you're doing a good job. Car looks nice and clean so far. I personally think that some white engine parts may set off that engine bay a little bit. But otherwise you've got it down packed. And great job on those gauges too.

to make you look at the red paint instead of the fact that they are aluminum. draw attention to one thing to take away from another, that's why.

anyway, thanks guys for the compliments. it means alot, gotta lot of time in her.

what would you suggest in the engine bay that could be painted white?
