In your opinion does a compliment about your car sound better comming from a guy or a girl? Why? Or do you just like the look of amazement on little kids eyes.

Personally: I like it when a girl does but in most cases i take it to heart when a guy say "Nice ride etc."

well....heres what i think

when a chick compliments me i usually say thanks. but deep down i know if i try to talk to her about it shell get lost and start to lose interest in the conversation so i keep it simple when babbling about the car,

when a guy compliments the car. i run my mouth forever about muscle cars and stuff. especially if they have the same car or a hotrod or something cool.

Sounds better from a girl, but more respectful from a guy, mostly because they see the car as more than appearance wise. Girls think ricers look nice...but I'd still rather hear it from them. The best compliment is still "Oh, I like your seats, they fold ALL the way down"

I would rather have a compliment from a guy, than from a girl. Guys know what looks good for cars. Sure its pretty cool when a girl knows her stuff, and then compliments on it, I value their opinion on fasion, but not cars. There was this one chick who was asking me if my car was a 305 or a 350, I thought that was cool. 95% of the time, a girl doesn't have the slightest clue about cars, so I really don't give a crap about their opinion. My sister refers to the hood on my car as a "wierd bumpy thing". I have a girlfriend of many years, so its not like I am picking up chicks in my car. I highly doubt a Camaro is really a chick picker upper anyway. A Porsche, or a Ferrari, yes, but a Camaro, no.

I like it when girls say my car is cool. Thats one less girl drooling on a mustang or honda. Plus I dont mind staring at their legs as they look in the window

But anyhow,getting a complent from a guy is cool too. Especially if their car is faster/nicer.

I like it when a guy compliments my car because guys can "usually" appreciate the work you've gone thru to get your car to look and perfrom the way it does. I don't mind it when the ladies do a double take at the ole RS, but most of them just "don't understand" the means to the end!!!!! Sorry if i have offended any female gearheads !

You might be suprised. I used to get plenty before some a**hole with a pos van side swiped me and peeled part of the fender like a tin can. but i guess it depends on whether you are lookin to get chicks with it and if you keep your car looken nice. peace

This is a silly question! GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS! Yeah, they have no idea what kind it is or what engine I have but they like, and they most likely will want a ride, and when that happens, you got yourself a date for the night and maybe she'll even put out on the first date.

Oh course, guys compliments are better because you can talk more in deepth about your car.

Generally i like when a guy comments on my car because they tend to know more. about cars.. not saying that women can't or anything, I'm just being general.. But I REALLY like to see the kids point and hgo wow at my car. Specially the one time when kids on the bus came to the other side and opened the widnows and said hey mister nice car

At car shows I hold the opinion of guys with older street rods in the highest regard. When some guy with what I consider to be just the coolest car says to me nice ride that means something. I also like when little kids like the car. It means to me that I may have stricken that kid with the car bug, and 10 years from now he'll want a Trans Am instead of a Civic.

Only time I care what a girl thinks is if it's closing time at the bar and she makes a comment about the car.
