Spoiler Delete?

So my camaro is going to the paint shope next thursday and i've came up with my paint scheme white(blue stripes) and would like to know your opinions on a spoiler delete.

Also would like pics of cars w/o spoiler, i believe that there were some california irocs that came w/o spoilers.

Re: Spoiler Delete?

i personally would keep the spoiler... and as far as the ground effects u just need to bolt them on.. most youd have to do is drill the holes if they arent allready on ur car

Re: Spoiler Delete?

You'll need a new front bumper cover, though, to put the front ground effects on.

The spoiler delete only looks good if the car is lowered and has gfx and has the perfect stance for it, otherwise it just looks like crap.

Re: Spoiler Delete?

No spoiler delete, please. I just don't think a thirdgen looks like a thirdgen without a spoiler.

Re: Spoiler Delete?

I agree with most of the replys that the spoiler should definitely stay ON the car. gfx should bolt up with a few holes drilled in and screws.

Re: Spoiler Delete?

camaros look terrible w/o a spoiler. I've only seen a few 3rdgen TA's pull off no spoiler, but for the most part 3rdgens need a spoiler.

Re: Spoiler Delete?

Just today i pulled the spoiler off and i realized that it would just be missing something if I left the spoiler off. Thanks for the replies however!

Re: Spoiler Delete?

Putting GFX on a non equipped car involves slightly more then just a few holes with the makita.

These pieces are old and alot of times the studs are old and stripped if not broken and missing.

The side skirts require brackets to be tack welded to the car, good luck finding oem ones in good shape. If I can recall I took some 1/4" steel and bent it at a 90 or so and used that.

It was more of a headache than I had imagined, getting them to line up properly to please the eye is half the battle.

Re: Spoiler Delete?

if you run big and litlle tires, you could get away without a spoiler.
