82-92 ZR1 TAILLIGHT PANEL

I was wondering if anyone has installed these on their camaro and had pictures of it they could post on here... I'm trying to decide what to do on taillights... Any info would be greatly appreciated!! I have attached a pic to show what I am talking about...

Thanks,
Mike

Re: 82-92 ZR1 TAILLIGHT PANEL

They look much better in the picture than they do on the car. They don't go with the body style at all and it just makes your car look like a corvette wanna-be, do a search someone posted pics not too long ago, looks really cheesy in my opinion.

Re: 82-92 ZR1 TAILLIGHT PANEL

If I ever build a camaro project car, they are getting these. I think you got to have the ducktail style spoiler or hawks 5" spoiler to pull off the right look though.

Re: 82-92 ZR1 TAILLIGHT PANEL

I want that as well with the notchback and a spoiler off a firebird. It won't look right at all with the 3 piece spoiler and I think it needs to be blended in with bondo so there's no gaps.

Re: 82-92 ZR1 TAILLIGHT PANEL

the pictures of these painted body color are absolutely hideous!! I've always wondered what a flat black one (like the original picture) would look like on a colored car. something like a mix between the 1st gen SS and early 2nd gen tails might be kind of cool, but ONLY if the car was super clean and the theme was echoed throughout. Definitely not something for the r*dneck 'rodder that put on those double spoilers to try though .

http://image.superchevy.com/f/chevy-...k-camaro-2.jpg

And as a side note, Corvette brakes/wheels/engine/suspension etc. on an F body is cool. trying to make your F body look like a Corvette with fake tail lights/body kits is NOT COOL!!! just buy a damn C4, they're almost the same price these days!!

Reminds me of the RX7 from the original Fast & Furious. It's different! But not for the western world, probably be the cats meow over in Asia!
