Re: My Camaro Z28 project.
My only issue with those style wheels is the weight. I think their like 35-40lbs or so. Beast of a wheel. As far as aesthetics go, on point!
There are a ton of trucks and jeeps guys drive where I'm stationed and many of them run that style wheel. The last thing I would wont is some Marine saying "nice rims bro! I got those on my mud truck!"

Re: My Camaro Z28 project.
A friend of mine that told me : "I know how to build engines, look my 355 fuel injection, it develop 400HP", So I move on and let him the lead of every part he wanted to buy. Engine Had too long pushrod, not cut ARP stud on head so the triangulation wasn't right, no valve guide, internal balanced crank with external balanced flexplate and damper (LOL), too big carb. So we wash the engine and the crank wasn't very happy lol. I have tried the car twice that summer. It was supposed to push 380HP, my speedshop told me that with this setup in best condition it was pushing 290HP MAX.
So I buy a 200$ engine that was laying for 3 years without starting. Put it on the car, started it, make 8 engine oil flush. Was running pretty fine on 70WT to have oil pressure. I drove the car 50KM away WOT all the time. Arrived to destination the radiator blew up lol!!!! This engine was a pain in the *** because of the 600CFM DP carburator that was WAYYY to big. I beat the **** up of that engine 2 summer. Then it dies lol.
Time for a new one I said, start with a 500$ engine, put an intake, carb, exaust and drive the car like that this summer with 230HP... Wasn't very happy but no money for my 383 crate. This is why
I bought this 290/326 GM crate engine.
We put the engine with existing components :
Holley 600CFM DP mecanical choke
Edelbrok performer air gap intake
MSD Fire
Hooker headers 3'' line with Dynomax Superturbo muffler
Racing Damper
Flexplate
Edelbrok water pump
Aluminium 3 pass crossloop radiator
2X electrics fans
Thx 700r4 with 2800Stall
3.73 gears

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, Black nuts and painted hubs.
Tried to plastidip bucket lights, but I've wait too long and the dip dried too much!
Lol.
Then I decided to bought me a new headers and Y pipe
here's the result :
Then the worst happen, I got fire in the loom AGGGGR
1000$ later, new harness done.
Then drove it like I stole it.
Then my friend asked me 3 years ago to try my car (he really like Camaros..)
So... go my friend. I've let him 1 hour alone with my car.
he come back with a ****ing big smile lol

Re: My Camaro Z28 project.
The car with the wheels you chose is mine. Since the pic I have raised the front and the rear. They are 19" not the 20, just look that way because the lowering springs took it down to far. Email me and I will give you info on adapters, and a few more pics after they were installed.

Re: My Camaro Z28 project.
Nice Camaro! I cut my antenna out. So happy I did.
The reason people say to black the bucket lights is because one way to tell if someone has a real Z28 or not is if the buckets are black. It would be a nice contrast to your white as well. But if you prefer it to be white then stick with it.
When I had my car painted I went solid color at first but ended up adding the black!
