I Voted for Motobooks. Was close between him and TPI Terror. But an original TT/A has a special place in my heart.

Thanks for the nominations, I'm the second owner and have had the car since 1999. Currently showing 153,000 miles and is unrestored. Here are a few more pics:

Motobooks (Luis) is a magician with his TAs and I'm a BIG fan. But I had to give puma my vote, simply because his car has soooo many miles on it, yet is still mint.

I've seen TPI TERR's face to face, and I would have to say it's the cleanest 3rd gen I've seen. The photos don't do it any justice, its a beautiful balance of paint, engine, transmission, interior, brakes, suspension & aerodynamics. He even went to the trouble of having a functioning a/c on a LS swap! Ive judged more than a few car shows in the past and I was impressed with the execution of this Camaro. As seen on the photo, I was caught at a car show checking out the undercarriage and its just as clean as the rest of the car (I'd sure like find the guy who turned me into a meme
) I own a white 92 T/A convertible and its very HARD for me not to vote for a TTA but TPI TERR's is VERY CLEAN! Sorry Motobooks

COTM should be broken down into 2 categories : stock and modified. (In voting terms) Stock cars are like pretty women with great figures. Modified cars are like average looking women with D's. A lot of teen boys will vote for the later only for the D's. So stock cars will never win against cars with 18"ers.

Regardless of stock or modified, all of the cars here this onto are exceptional examples. It's awesome just to be recognized in my opinion.
I know in the past there was theme months. Ie red cars, stock cars, cars with 200k plus, forced induction, lsx swaps. Maybe that may help going forward.
What's wild is that I've noticed the exact opposite lately when going to car shows (mainly camaro shows). The modded cars, unless executed flawlessly, weren't able to place when compared to a lot of these pristine stock cars. Finding a cherry, all stock third gen is almost impossible in the rust belt.

I agree that the stock cars dont stand a chance against the modded cars, but I dont think we should separate the voting.
Lets just stick to the themes. Eventually a stock or all original car theme will come around and all these AWESOME stock cars will have a chance to compete against other stock or all orginal cars.

Re: August COTM ** Voting **
People like modified cars because its more interesting to see what has been done to the modified cars than it is to see a perfectly maintained stock vehicle (we all basically know more or less what it looks like in and out and what it has in it), as well as because a lot more work goes into modifying a car as opposed to maintaining the stock setup (unless, that is, the owner is restoring a thrashed car to stock specs).

Re: August COTM ** Voting **
There are lots of great choices for August!
As for the modified versus stock debate, it is getting more difficult each year to keep one of these cars stock. Many of the normal wear items that are available in lots of great choices as an aftermarket piece, are like finding hen's teeth in the stock version
