Odd 82 Z28 Emblem problem
All the replacement emblems I've found online have a bowtie apart of the rear emblem. My rear emblem also appears to be adhesive as opposed to the panel ones on the sides but that may be normal, is there a chance a previous owner razer-knifed the bowtie off?

No. The 1982 Z28 did not have the bowtie. 1983 on up did. It should also be a gel coat adhesive emblem. It does not have a plastic frame around it
