Did you possibly have a previous username and posts about your adventures and restoration before? Hope things go well for your re-build.

Sorry to see this Steve. Flooding is nasty stuff, and homeowners are quite often powerless to prevent property loss.

For what it's worth, I put my first car into a flooded creek. But we dried it out, cleaned it up, changed fluids, and I drove it for several more years. Still have it, actually.

Sorry to see that, looks like it was a very nice car. Keep us up to date on your rebuild, I'd be really curious to see what sort of damage that kind of flooding does. I've heard it can be a nightmare, but I've also heard positive stories like Dave's where it's a relatively simple clean-up and dry-out to get the car back up and running again.

Looks like a 3rd Gen T/A and an old Square Body got wet as well, yours?

That's a heartbreaker right there! Just makes me sick looking at it!

Hope you are well insured, you've got your work cut out for you.

On the bright side, fresh water is nowhere close to as bad as salt water.

Are you in the area North of Chicago that got hit by floods? I've had friends tell me how bad it was.
