Income tax budget

hey guys! Income tax season is right around the corner and I’m planning on doing a lot to make my car look better. I started pricing weatherstripping kits (to replace everything not just doors on a hardtop) and I seen full kits for around $500. Is this about the going rate for them? Also what’s the going rate for a new rear spoiler and front bumper? (89 GTA if that helps.) I’m trying to establish a budget.

Not sure, but I try to only let the govt. hold the bare minimum. My refund is usually a tank of gas and such. If you are getting hundreds or thousands back, adjust your witholdings. 2c

What he said, lol! At least in a bank account you might get 1% interest. Over the years as my income went up my refund went down. Of course now that I'm self-employed there's no more refunds and I now have to write checks to uncle Sam. And that sucks! Has anybody tried rock-auto for any parts for our cars? On that garage squad show I'm always surprised at how much stuff they have for old cars.
