flames

hey guys,
I'm getting a set of those flame magnets for my car for free, if they look good I may consider flames for next year when my car gets painted, what do you guys think, any pictures, and what colors go well with bright red. I keep seeing stangs around town with flames and they look hot, but don't hardley see any nice thirdgens

my opinion on flames on red paint is either have the front end totally yellow then fade into orange then a reddish hue with blue tips. or go with a really nice silverish ghost flame effect. where all you see if the outline and some fading, but make sure its ghost flames if you do the silver look.

and i would love to see some more thirdgens with flames, but all to often flames are done wrong on thirdgens.

I like red cars when they start the flames in a nice cream color and fade through a pale yellow into orange. Lime green pinstripe around the flame really sets it off (sounds nasty, but it isn't).

I'm sanding my car now and planning on painting it all red with a tribal firebird on the hood and flames coming down off the hood and down the sides in silver/graphite.

what about solid black flames on a red car. I'll be doing it myself so I don't want anything to complex. maybe black fading into gray? what do you think, can anyone photoshop it for me?
