Here is a picture of my beater 86sc in the making. This picture is about 1 1/2 yrs old. I drove this car for 2yrs in that cond. I had the nose and wheels from my 85iroc on it at this time. This car had a full set of 85-90 grnd effects then the 91-92's I'll post of pic of what this car grew up to be.

My Bro had a second gen beter. I dont have a pic but it was painted in a light red primer that looked kinda pink in the right sun light and looked like sand at another angle. The SOB would roar though. 300HP in that bitch was no joke. Now with a blue paint job and well he destroyed the other rims fishtailing it in to the curb at 7-11 so the current rims dont look as good. Wish I had a pic of that primer for ya but here is the finished product with the 4th Engine + 100 more HP then before with the new bowtie block and some other parts.

I agree Brad, it sure has come a long way. Usually when people have a car that has all different color parts, the parts aren't in great shape paintwise because they're going to be painted anyway, but yours all look perfect! What color are you going to be painting it?

Do beater firebirds count?
3.1L V6 auto, paints falling off pretty much all around due to Van Nuys quality problems, the problems come and go... daily... So its getting a 350 TPI 6spd, new interior, various body, suspension, etc mods. When its done it'll be a 1978 AMC Gremlin.
BTW the divot in the hood is the result of working on the car for the fifth day in a row... its so much easier to pop the hood with the jack handle then to jack it up and fix the problem.
FWIW the hood was wavy to begin with and is goign to be replaced by a different hood anyway.

I've bought a few windows myself,......
From the pic, it doesn't seem bad, mine on the other hand, '91 Irishman in Florida-peeling-clear-coat Formula,
(I need to get a pic or two up somehow),.........

Well guys, as sad as it is I sold the multi-color. One of the guys in my parent's neighbor hood made me a ridiculous offer of $3900 on it and i took it. Plus i took the wheels, the front end and the tail-lights out. I got a hell of a deal, but i was sad top let it go. The guy is getting it painted triple-gloss black with 5-7 coats of clear. I'm going to (cry) when i see it all one color.
But, here's one of the other third gens i'm working on right now:my 89
