Few GTA/firebird Questions...
I have a few questions...
1. I need a front driver fender for a GTA, but there is no listing for the GTA, just Trans Am and FireBird, Will a Firebird fender work, I own a 88 GTA. I know the trans am have the little scoop on them so thats a no go, but will a firebird accept my Gfx?
2. How hard is it to do a fender swap? Any special tools/tricks, I hear the nose has to come off and with that the head lights come off too. The body shop wanted 2hrs worth of labor, but I dont have that kind of money to **** away right now, so Im going to try and do it.
3. How would one go about removing the GTA emblems off the car so they dont break or mess up the paint, then how to get the sticky stuff off, getting paint job in a few weeks...
:hail:THANKS TO ANY ONE WHO COULD HELP....

Yes the firebird fenders will work. There are no real tricks to swaping fenders just keep track of all the bolts and don't loose any shims that may come off the fender when you take it off the car. Also sometimes you have to add shims to the fender to make it line up right. And to remove the emblems just take a scraper and carefuly pry the emblem off. To remove the sticky tape just use a razor blade. Good Luck and take your time.

It's been a while but I think the firebird fenders will need to be drilled to accept the skirts

Firebird fenders will definitely swap. You definitely will have to drill the holes for the gfx. The nose will have to come off and they are bolted to the fenders with 3 or 4 bolts on each side. You can only see these bolts from underneath the car. The headlights do not need to come off.
Good luck
