Race Interior

Hey guys. I'm trying to plan a street/strip t/a. I've run into some problems as far as the interior goes. I'd like something muscley, like an old chevelle setup almost. Yet with a drag look, serious stuff, no type R floormats. Any pics or any suggestions would help. Planning on a roll cage. I want to do the opposite of most of you, and go with an older interior, Not 4th gen stuff. Thanks for any suggestions/pics guys.

nothing beats all out race then no interior (make sure you paint the floor or soemhting...), racing seats (liek say momo's or sparcos or corbeaus) and nice 10 poitn roll cage thats intergrated to the sfc.

all out metal feels so cold....i'm still going to drive it on the street, so i want more or a classic feel to compliment the racey feel. There will be a carpet, but as far as interior panels go, i doubt they'll be present (except for PART of the dash, not sure yet). It won't be a creature comfort cruiser, a/c, heater will be taken out, the possibility of a stereo system exists, but probably won't happen. I guess i'm kinda going for a pro-street type car, but less tacky and cheaper lol. I want to find the fine line between street rod, trans-am racer, and pro-street dragster and stand right on it.
