please help lost something in defrost vents

i was adjusting my radar detector that i just got on my windsheild and i dropped one of the little suction cups that holds the radar detector up down my defrost vent. this is very disturbing and ive taken my dash pad off and under my steering wheel apart. im tired and just want to hear from someone who has already been through this. where do those vents go and how do i get to them? thanks a lot in advance.

how could you tell where it stayed? i reached my fingers in those vents as far as i could and couldnt feel it. do you think it would be easier to get to the bottom of those vents from the top or the bottom?

I just recently dropped a bunch of screws i had sitting on my dash pad down those vents. I haven't driven the car in a month and man i forgot how much power that thing has. I had to pull it in my backyard under the new canopy i got for it and i pressed on the gas too much and then had to hit the brakes and away went the screws. I plan on getting them with a magent tied to a rope.

use a vacuum cleaner with a medium sized flexible plastic hose attached to the tube. Works good in those hard to reach spots.

I did the exact same thing and now I don't feel so bad about it. I ended up buying a pack of gum and got everybody in the car to chew a piece and give it to me so I had something to stick the radar detector on the dash.

well, my dad and i finally got the suction cup. what a pain! ended up using a plastic tube with tape on the end of it and i turned my defrost on high. i lost a toothbrush down those vents and it went down the hole at the bottom. oh well. please be very careful when you put anything near your defrost vents.
