water coming in?
water coming in?
Hi. I have a '92 Camaro. I parked the car over the winter. It's been dismantled partially for painting so the door panels and inner plastic seals are off the car. I have t-tops as well it should be noted, but the seals were just replaced a year ago and tested at my local laser wash
. Also the seal was just replaced on my hatch.
I woke up this morning and went out to clean out the car and found a sheet of ice on the rear passenger floor. What gives? Could this be just settled moisture? But then why just on the passenger rear? Anyone else have a problem like this? As far as I know the door was shut well and there doesn't seem to be any signs of ice or water on the door jambs. I don't understand it. I've heard of this happening to a friend of mine at work on another car she had (not an f-body), but I don't know if she ever found out what it was.
My dad had a problem like this on his cavalier and it was because his upper window wasn't sealing due to the subframe being slightly twisted.
Anyone have any ideas? I'm really bumming! I thought I'd fixed all the leaks when I re-did the seals!
