door panels

I am looking into restoring my interior. Its pretty beat up and its RED. Yuck, red on red!!! I'm having the exterior repainted, keeping red but I want to change the interior color. I plan to start with the door panels because the lower part of each side is rotted and ripped. I was looking at Hawks and they're prices seem pretty good for a pair of door panels. I was wondering if anyone has used them. What kind of quality are they? Do they look nice? My goals with the interior are restore. I am going to be fabbing up a custom aluminum center console some day when I get some more time. As for the rest, I want stock looking, nothing flashy.

Thanks

I personally have not used them but another member here (Abubaca) has a set of them in his IROC that I have seen and they look OE. Good materials and fit too. I've heard nothing but good things about Hawk's stuff.

Thanks for the link, but I am not going to do that. I would rather just buy something right now.

My car had all red interior also and I thought it was the ugliest thing ever so this last week I pulled off my door panels and junked them. I took a peice of 1/8 inch luon and cut out all the holes put in the push clips and the trim panel and covered them myself in black and gray leather and they look awesome. As soon as I get sum pics I will post, if you have any kind fabricating skills it was one of the easiest & cheapest projects that I've ever done...

I agree. I made my own door panels when I swapped out my grey interior for all black.
