Front Chin Spoiler Repair Help
Hello everybody,
Well I've been slowly purchasing parts to upgrade my gfx to the aero style. I happened to run across a cheap front chin spoiler which has about an inch and a half crack on the drivers side corner. Is this a repairable piece or will it not last since it's right on the corner? If so how would I go about repairing the piece?
Thanks,
Jeremy

you should be able to repair it. just might take a litle work. It is a fiberglass piece or the same type of stuff that the nose is made of? if it is the same type of stuff the nose is made of. there is stuff you can use to fix it and have it look like new... if it is fiberglass, then that is really simple. in fact you could probably fix it reguardless using fiberglass sheet, and epoxy resin, after you dril the crack so it does not go furter as a tear, and drill around it (allows the epoxy to have a sure anchor.) then you use the filler used on that material the thing is made out of (it is flexible so it will not crack and fall off) and smooth out the holes, and then prime and paint. will look like new from the front.. from the back depending on how you do it you will eaither see a patch area, or if you just do the entire thing, you wuold not ever notice.
