i'm lookin to buy an ss hood for my 91 and i was wondering if it has a cowl scoop for any extra room. i'm gonna need about 2 more inches and i was wondering if its gonna fit under there.

 

i have an ss hood, i would say mine im not sure if they are all the same but it is pretty much a cowl hood with flat back probably close to 2 inches high, it is raised inside the scoop area and the last owner had to notch the cowl area for his wipers to work, so i plan on cutting it almost completely out so its like an ss/cowl hood just to help with air flow and heat extraction through the back, i also plan on fabricating a tunnel/scoop for the bottom side of the hood to "ram" the air directly into my breather on the carb mine is cut out in the scoop but isnt directed to make it an actual ram air, sorry for the long post
