Paint and interior finally

Well as of yesterday by bird is going in for a full refresh. All new weather stripping complete body and paint(factory flame red). The Formula, the birds and the 5.0 fi are all being ghosted in black. I just ordered my 17x9/17x8 rims and tires from CWM. The interior is getting completely redone in two tone black and grey vinyl new carpet, new head liner and custom door panels. I will post pics over the next few weeks to show progress and then the final product.
Just sold my 305 long block going tomorrow to get my 350.

I had 275's on the front of my car and 285's on the rear with 17X9's all the way around. The only time I ever had any rubbing issues was when I had the wheels turned full lock, and even then it was only minimal.

Re: Paint and interior finally

ok so i havent posted in a few days but here is the deal. my car was supposed to be at Don Davis race Cars by now but go figure the car hasnt been sanded down all the way for paint and the interior guy decided to go on vacation. bottom line Im P1ssd. if my car isnt in the booth for paint by tomorrow Im gonna have to raise some hell they have had it for 4 weeks now. On a happier note my vortec heads are done just need an intake now and my 350 is being assembled as of this post

Re: Paint and interior finally

ok due to time constraints that have just been put on my build here is an update. my new fuel system is installed new bushings in the front stock k-member are installed, tranny has been sealed. rearend is in the car and my new rims and tires are on the car with the new spacers for my bump stops. I have cut out the rust under the battery area and will be installing the new metal this week then the hotrod flat black will go into my engine bay. While Davis Race cars is framing in the car I will be building my motor- 350ci 11.0.1 compression, 750cfm carb, stock heads for now aluminums later when I can afford them, air gap intake
