heater box removal?!?
I have my entire dash apart right now cause I need to replace the heat and sound installation behind it on the firewall (soaked with coolant from the old heater core). I have replaced the heater core already and know how to get into the housing (heater box?) that it sits in. But I need to take it off of the firewall! Anyone know how to do this? Thanks

I feel your pain ... I believe it's time to start putting this damned interior back together.
I do have a question about the dash board. Right next to one of the vents, I have a crack. Is there a good way to repair this (hard plastic)? I was thinking of trying some kind of glue and sort of patch up the crack ....

Thanks Duffster, I removed several fasteners already hoping to get it off, but I think there are a couple more. Allan, is the crack visible when the assembly is back together? If not, you could use some JB weld. I did this for the fuse block cover because the tab with the spring broke off. it doesn't look the greatest, but you cant see it when its on the car, and that stuff is really strong. It is a dark grey color. Thanks for the picture, that is what my dash looks like, but everything else is out of my car (carpet, seats, headliner, console, etc). It is totally stripped and I just want to get it back together!! Thanks guys.
