I was at the shop the other day to get my headlight switch replaced and there was a light above the dimmer switch. Does yours work in your car? The light I have works, mechanic checked it, it just doesn't work when it is in the car. Is it supposed to come on when the doors are open or when the parking/healights are on?

Yes... it should be on anytime the headlights or guage lights are on. Its not really noticable unless you take the dash apart... Pretty worthless.
