RPO codes

Among the many threads I've read on this board over the past few days I thought I read where someone made the comment that they could get a full list of RPO codes for a specific car by having the dealership run the VIN number. I've tried over the past few hours to find this post again, instead of starting a new thread, to no avail. (I'm not even sure now if it was in this forum) I remembered the comment after I found out the '91 RS I'm trying to buy doesn't have it's RPO list. I think I have this car bought, but the owner is being tight assed over 100 bucks. (If I had the extra 100 I'd give it up for the car, but I don't have it this week, and with my luck the car will be gone next week)

dont hold me to this, but i think that GM can trace your VIN and print you a build sheet. It will have all the RPO's on it. I think they can trace all the way back to 89', so you should be alright. I think.

Yes, any GM dealership should be able to run your vin and get you a spid label.
