Help with gfx conversion

Ok, i searched the boards, and found a lot of info that said you could bolt on 91-92 TA ground effects to the 85-90 cars, but i haven't found one post that says with certainty that you can bolt on 91-92 to an 82-84 car. My main concern is not the ground effects themselves, but the front and rear bumper covers. Hopefully im mistaken, but i thought i read that the shock absorber inside the bumper was different between these years, and that would have to be swapped too. Anyone want to make my day and tell me otherwise?

If I remember correctly, it isn't just a swapping of the covers and you're done. A few posts down, someone listed most of the items that needed swapping. I know for a fact you'll need to trim the headlight bezels. I believe the impact bar is different, as well. It's best to just get a donor car and swap as you need to. More 'birds had the ground effects than not in 91-92, so good luck. I hope that helped.
