I see that 1AAuto has what I need for my car, both pairs of top door rails and the window sweeps that attach as well as the door weatherstripping... But I'm seeing so many mixed reviews on the site, is it a good place to order from? Or is there like a " top dog " out there who's better?

My local Chevy dealer recommended Eckler's Camaros but I see they've been changed to Rick's Camaros... Are they good?

I purchased and just installed the window sweeps and a full door kit for my coupe from RockAuto. They were a bit cheaper than 1A. The sweeps needed 4 out of 7 holes relocated and the door weatherstrip fit very well.

1AAuto has an exhalant reputation on this site. Myself and many others here have had nothing but exhalant customer service using them. And they stand behind there products.


And I don't think you can actually talk to a human being at RockAuto.
They do everything through email.......


Not the way I want to deal with a problem if one arises.

Well, one thing I'm unsure of when buying the sweeps too which I'll need to talk to a human for is that on my car and I'm not sure if this is a standard on the 3rd gens, but on the outer sweeps, there is like a metal trim covered in rubber that goes along on top of the door, and I'm not sure if the sweeps come with that already attached or not for the exterior ones, not even sure what that part is called.

Got two sets of window sweeps from 1A Auto. These folks are great. As well as they were packaged, and it was good, the shippers managed to damage three of the four sweeps. I call 1A and they had two new sets at my door two days later. They didn't even want the old ones back for verification! Both sets fit and seal very well. Have bought lots more 3rd Gen parts from them since then with no issues. Very helpful.

The first shipment of sweeps they sent me were damaged. Someone clearly bent the sweeps to get them in the shipping box. Called, talked with a human that apologized, and I had a new set, shipped in a PVC container, a couple days later. Worked out well.
