Retrofit spoiler brake light to a 92 RS
I have a 92 RS with the brake light in the top of the hatch which, as far as I can tell is there so you can't see directly behind you. I am going to put the old style spoiler with the brake light in it on the car. I have searched for quite a while, looking to see how the brake light was wired into the car. If there is no other way, I am going to run the power wires along the lift struts but anybody want to take a picture of the inside so I can see how the factory did it? The 91-92 "upgrade" seems one of the dumber ideas as it reduces the functionality of the mirror and the light in the spoiler looks cool, to me at least. Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like wires up the lift strut with some kind of coiled wire like the old phone cords is the backyard way to go. Thanks for the info.
