In the relative near future I'm looking at repainting my 1986 Trans Am. Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like it originally was Sungold Yellow which appears to be slightly lighter than the current yellow. It appeared to have had gray ground effects. And Auburn stripes. I'm having a hard time finding the two tone tan/graphite seats I still have the originals but they are tore up. Also did the 1986 have the large hood bird or the nose bird? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thx

Here it is at it sits right now. I'm planning on driving as is for awhile but I do plan to paint it.

DX1 is the code for the BIG hood bird. No DX1, you'd only have the small bird on the beak.
