Real Fast Help

hey i got a 1989 trans am GTA T top i am takeing the head liner off and the only thing holding the head liner off is the light how do i get the light off please help not much day light left

There is usually two studs where the light is, that's it. Look in the Tech articles for complete instructions for T-top headliner removal. Hurry!

Try to pop the white palstic lens off, you may have to stick something up between the crack of the lens and the black part. There should be some screws holding it up after you get the lens off. Hope that helps.

once the lens is off, I usually take a pair of screw drivers and start working it down a little ways, you can continue this method OR you can take a pair of plyers and pull them off. Pay attention to where they fly off to though.

Oh yeah, when you get the lens off , if the light bulb has been on, dont touch that little booger, i burned my finger on one of those pretty bad one time and it had only been on for a minute or so.

well guys i just wanted to thank everyone who helped me get the light off i was able to install my new head liner thanks for your help
