1984 Z28 L69 rear drums to LS1 discs questions

Hello Everyone,
I completed the LS1 front swap a couple years ago (big difference ) and have been putting off starting on the rear. It's time to get started on it and have a few questions. I've just spent the last hour doing searches, so I hope it hasn't been covered somewhere else.

I have all the rear pieces shown in the "Thirdgen F-Body Rear Drum Brakes to LS1 Discs" tech article.

1. Should I upgrade my mc to a LS1 mc? If so, why?
2. I believe I need a wilwood adjustable proportioning valve whether I stay with my stock mc or not?
3. Is my stock mc ok to use with the wilwood proportioning valve or do I need a different mc?

Thanks in advance for the help,
Craig

Think I found my answer here:
convince me I don't need an adjustable proportioning valve

and here from ebmiller88:
I'll give my input based on my experiences and knowledge but the final decision will obviously up to you. Concerning your setup and stock GM parts, you will have C5s up front which have pistons essentially the same size as 1LEs. The rear PBRs you will have, they're 1LE/LT1s and not LS1s, right? If so, install a 1LE prop valve and be done with it. If installing LS1s, then you may want an adjustable one as the LS1 rear pistons are much bigger than those on the LT1/1LEs. I really like the way Trump installed his valve as 1) it's very clean and 2) he kep the stock piece in place so it can be returned to stock at any time and keeps the adjustability he wants. You may consider this option but my final recommendation is to go with the stock 1Le spec valve IF using the 1LE/LT1 rear discs. The combination of C5s and LT1 rears will have you as hydraulically close to a true 1LE setup as you can get and those stock parts do the trick just fine.

So I'll go with the wilwood adj valve and plumb it in like Trumps2000 since that looks like a much easier mod.
