1991 Camaro RS Brake Problems
I have a 1991 Camaro RS that was a V6. I just put in a 305 and I ran a line first from the intake manifold to the new check valve I installed on the Brake booster. When I started the car the brake pedal went straight to the floor and fully applied the brakes. I then tried running the line off the back of the carb and the same thing happened. I wasnt sure if I needed a check valve in between the check valve on the booster and the vacuum supply as in the intake manifold or carb. My buddy has a 77 elky with a valve between his check valve at the booster and his carb, so I tried that piece off his elky on my 91 and the brake pedal still goes straight to the floor when I start the car. I'm lost, dont know if I need a new booster or what.

The only needed check valve is th e one on the boster itself. If the pedal foes right to the floor the booster is trashed
