Help with loose brake slave cylinder

1986 Z28 - replacing the wheel cylinder and with the clip tight I can turn the assembly a few degrees in the hole. Is this normal?

Re: Help with loose brake slave cylinder

Probably. The ones that I took off, and the new ones that I put on were both rotating slightly in the backing plate hole.
