Corvette rear brake c4 12in non hd swap
Ok I am able to easily get the information on the front brake swap of the c4 non hd 12 inch brakes. My area I can not get a good answer is the rears. I have a Dana 44 with the brakes that are pre 89 discs. Am I right that all I need to do is swap the backing plates to install the pbr 89 calipers and then I can put the c4 rotors on the rear? I want to make my braking system upgraded all the way around and still use the 15in aluminum firebird rims so I can get good selection on drag radials.

Don't know about the 15" wheel part myself; wouldn't bet on it in any case; but the rest may well work.

The OEM PBR rotors are 11.6".
Here's a link to FlynBye Performance.
http://www.flynbye.com/catalog/i10.html
That's a complete conversion kit but it shows the disc at 11.6".
Then there's' a complete 12" conversion kit.

There are brackets available separately as well.
http://www.flynbye.com/catalog/i182.html
Maybe that will help.
The website suggests that the 12" rotor will fit "most" 15" wheels.
