I BOUGHT THIS CAMARO FOR MY DAUGHTER,BUT INSURANCE FOR A TEEN DRIVER WITH A CAMARO IS CRAZY! THIS IS A 305 WITH THE 700R4 TBI I CHANGED THE FLUIDS,INCLUDING TRANS,NEW FUEL FILTER,FRONT BRAKES,CAP&ROTOR.IT IS ALL STOCK OTHER THAN K&N FILTER,FLOWMASTER MUFFLER. THE AIR HAS BEEN CHANGED TO R134 AND IS COLD,ALL THE SMOG IS THERE BUT THE CONVERTER.DONT SEE ANY VISABLE RUST.IT IS A HARDTOP.EVERYTHING WORKS,POWER WINDOWS,LOCKS,CRUISE,TILT,POWER HATCH.ALSO HAS A KENWOOD CD PLAYER.LOOKS GOOD OUTSIDE,PAINT IS SHINY,THE ONLY BAD IS CLEARCOAT ON THE TOP OF THE LEFT FENDER,AND A SPOT ON THE LEFT SIDE OF HOOD.IT ALSO HAS A BRA ON I.ALL THE GAUGES WORK.GLASS IS GOOD.IT HAS THE PRIVACY SHADE IN THE REAR.INTERIOR IS REALLY NICE,ONE SMALL HOLE ON UPPER LEFT DRIVERS SEAT(SIZE OF PENCIL)AND IT NEEDS A DASH PAD,OTHER THAN THAT ITS A 9 ALSO SMOKE FREE.IT HAS A NEW ABS HEADLINER.THIS A GOOD LOOKING DRIVER THAT HASNT BEEN FOOLED WITH GIVE ME CALL 740-464-4391

I think it is a very nice 3rd gen.. Very well kept..& clean.. I have a son that is 16.. $4K is a little more than i would like to spend on his first car though.

The only thing really hurting you is it's a hardtop, but I'd still buy it for $4,000 if I had extra cash.

what are you talking about?? the only reason i havnt bought a car yet and am still digging through these for sale ads is because im desperatly searching for a hardtop. they're all T-tops or verts. (what gives!)

I guess the hardtop vs t-top is a matter of age for me,when i was 20 the t-top was the only way to go 20 yrs later I understand the meaning of a solid,tight car that you can drive in the rain! I live in Portsmouth,oh

It's a matter of personal preference of coarse, but I find hardtops boring. I've had 2 hardtops, my convertible, and driven my gf's ttop IROC and my sister's ttop Formula. Convertibles and ttop cars are my kind of car. The thing I did like better about one of the hardtops was it was a 5spd though.

Bump for a clean car. I'd still buy it for $4,000 even though it is a hardtop

if your doughter (well at least here in colorado) went through a driveres ed course it schouldent be that exspensive a 1991 camaro that i may be getting is 186$ a month with a B average in school with a c avaerage it is 246 im 15 almost 16

Hard top / T-top, I guess it's a matter of preference. I think $3,500.00 for this car is a very good deal. Wouldn't last long here in the Chicago area for that price. Bump for a nice car!

The RS is not really unpopular, I know lot of people that are looking for a hard top.

Great looking RS. Ebay is probably the best forum for such an unmodded car with that mileage. F-bodies are wierd in their value. Takes the right buyer. Good luck and you are semi-local to me. Weird how insurance would be so bad for your daughter. Im 17 years old, on my own separate insurance for my '89 Iroc-z.

Though, it depends what you concider expensive. I pay $260/mth CAD. Must say, better then any of my buddy's rates
