1986 Rare IROC-Z. Extremely Straight-Perfect Resto!
Jacksonville, Florida - 1986 Camaro IROC-Z. This is a rare optioned car. Rare stock (and near perfect) interior/seat package. 305 TPI V8 with the 700R4 auto. Options include T-tops, working power windows, seat, locks, mirrors, antenna, trunk release/close. Car is bone stock other than the CD player (ERS package). Red on black. Stock trip-tracker console. 16” IROC rims. New headlights/brights.
This is an amazingly straight car. Very solid and drives straight down the street. No dents. Doors open perfect. Rubber and seals in very good cond. Interior is fantastic other than a couple cracks in the dash. AC and emissions have been removed for the added hp. You won’t need tires either, almost new ones on.
Tranny and rear good to go. The motor knocks but still starts right up. Now, I have some options for you if desired. I can have the motor rebuilt and have the heads shaved, parts and labor for $750 within two weeks. I can also get plug-n-play motor (TPI) for $600-700. Or you can gt it as it sits. I'm an Accountant by trade so we can write up anything we need to.
The car needs paint but the proof of perfection is in its original paint. This car completed is worth well over $5k. Serious inquiries only please. Car only has 138k. Comes with original T-top bag as well. Fantastic project.
$1550 as it sits. For $2300 I will have the motor rebuilt to better than spec. My buddy and I do this one the side and take it seriously. Restorer’s dream and already a classic. mail anytime. Many pics available. Can assist in transport. lifes2shrt2004@yahoo.com
