I have a 1985 Z28 that was been modified. It has a beefed up 400 tranny and locking 10 bolt posi that's also beefed up with 373 gears. The tq. convertor is a TCI super street fighter (3500rpm). The motor is a 383 that needs rebuilding. its a 350 4 bolt main block pre 86 block. it has a 400 crank turned down to 350 mains. the motor has srp pistons msd distributor, 6AL box, brodix T1 alum. heads with 2.08 and 1.60 valves, port matched alum. performer edle. intake and a 750 holley double pumper. for suspension, it has tub. k member, lower control arms and panhard bar and has adjustable kyb AGK struts and shocks. it has the twin turbo fiberglass hood.
The car itself has power windows, t-tops, power hatch, a/c was taken out to shave weight, but i left the heater core in it for heat in the winter. it has a CD player. i've put about $12K in parts alone in this car. I have new interior and weather striping which cost over grand. I don't have the time and money to mess with this car anymore. i hate to get rid of it b/c I've had it since high school, but i have no choice. there are a couple of older pics at http://www.fquick.com/Ultra_Z body is a little rough. price is $3500 obo will sell cheaper without the top end.
