SOLD ---> 85 Z28 White/Black, 305, Auto, T-Top
$4400 305 TPI, Auto, 3.23 POSI, 4 wheel disk Brakes, Lear Siegler Conteur Interior. Just passed 180K on Original Drivetrain. Dealer maintained until Nov 2010, I'm the second owner. Was parked in AZ from 84-98 and took 169K highway miles. Moved to MA in 1998 and took another 10K over 12 years as a "summer" car. Registered as an Antique,... All pictures are very recent.

I've owned more ThirdGens than I'd care to count but this is one of the best ones I've ever "bought" into. Don't get me wrong - I've already got plenty of $, effort and yes -some pain - into it,..... but this car is soooo worth it !!
P.S. This car has NO Rear Defroster and the Power Antenna is NOT working. ( It stays up. ) Radio has also lost front right speaker ( It's not a bad speaker )
Edit: The Center Console Pad was also repaired, no more crack, Looks perfect. Still has original RPO Code sheet on underside.

Update: The original 85MPH speedo got removed and a 145 Speedo was installed. The trip odometer was repaired ( had a bad J clips ), and the odometer reading was set to 180,000 to show actual mileage. ( still have original speedo head ) The "HO" tach was also replaced because it was inaccurate. The replacement Tach is now accurate,.......... but the oil pressure gauge is off. ( I prefer the accurate tach ! )
I also heard an exhaust hole when I drove the boys to basketball events this weekend. Yet to look close, but I know it's near the cat. ( The muffler & pipes were recently replaced. )

Car is for sale once again. Gotten a few upgrades since this add was first posted: Still a 'numbers matching' 85 Z28,....
"Camaro" Aluminum Valve covers
New K&N filters
Air Foil
Ported Runners
1.6 Roller rockers
8mm Wires
New Gaskets ( heads-up)
Ceramic coated Hooker 2460's / Custom Y-Pipe,
Custom Exhaust ( was blasted and painted flat black )
IROC Front Springs, Wonder Bar, POLY End Links
Headliner Re-covered by local shop
145 Speedo, repaired Trip odometer, Odometer shows actual miles
New Water Pump, 180 Stat
All fluids, Bla, Bla, Bla,......
Headlight bar last year vs. now:
Replaced Motor Mounts, (Front Sway and Wonder Bar are Red too)
"Muffler" before sandblasting:
Heads installed, valve seals, Roller Rockers, ( Did NOT use these Valve Covers ! )
Injectors after rebuild / testing:
Engine the day after Rebuild "first start" ( Used THESE Valve Covers ! )
It developed a pretty heavy oil leak last summer so I pulled the motor to clean it up a bit. ( Leaked turned out to be the pressure sending unit ) While the engine was out the engine bay / front suspension / steering system was detailed. The Valve seals were redone and some RR were installed. Car has a very distinct sound due to the custom exhaust...... Hooker 2460's into a Custom Y, then thru a 2 1/2" Cat and opened to 3", duel-out "muffler".
At this time I've got 1 "issue"; The fan is on at all times when engine is running. The Shop manual tells me its the AC switch or a "stuck" Fan relay. The AC switch was removed (it can't be closed) so if a new relay doesn't correct the problem then I'll start probing wires. AC and Cruise Control were removed and still in original condition; those parts are included with the car.
It's fairly priced & I'm not desperate to sell - SERIOUS ONLY Please !

I'm really not sure where I got those covers, they either caem from a member here or E-Bay. I got them 12-15 years ago and have been waiting for the right car to instlal them on ever since.
