Car: 1984 Z28
Engine: .030 over 350 4 bolt .480/292 cam
Transmission: Tremec TKO 600
Axle/Gears: 3.27:1 posi
84 Z28 Hardtop/ 5speed

1984 Z28, It has a .030 over 350- 4 bolt main with a .292 duration 480 lift cam that has a 109 degree lobe separation angle it has 1.6: 1 Comp Cam roller rockers (effectively making it a .512 lift), Edelbrock RPM air gap intake with a Holley 650 Double Pumper, Accel billet Distributor with an Accel Super Coil, Weiand aluminum water pump, Aluminum radiator with a SPAL twin cooling fan set, Holley performance fuel pump, SLP headers, Flowmaster muffler, SBK filter top air cleaner which sits in the functioning cowl induction hood scoop (2 inch bolt on), Tremec TKO 600 (a true five speed-not a fifth gear overdrive), Centerforce clutch. The first pic was taken a few weeks ago second through fourth were right after it was painted about two years ago and it did not have rhe door locks or emblems on it.

The front end has been rebuilt along with the rear shocks and front struts, Lakewood trailing arms and adjustable panhard bar, Moog heavy duty rear springs, Skulte wheel adapters add 2" of track to mount the 2001 T/A wheels with 245/50/r16 Fuzion tires. All of the weatherseal has been replaced along with new tint and the car is extremely tight and quiet inside. A/C compressor is a new not a rebuilt compressor (A/C will freeze you out). The heater core has just been replaced. 6 way drivers seat, P/W, P/L, Tilt, Cruise (not hooked up). It has a Sound Storm Labs (SSL) DVD/CD player, Alpine 4"dash and 6"x9"side speakers with 12" Infinity Subs in a "camaro box"(in the rear well) driven by a pair of Kenwood amps (1000 watt mono for the subs and 800 watt powering the four Alpines) .

The car was repainted the original 84 Z28 red and silver about 3 years ago but I left off the vinyl tape. I installed new emblems when it was painted. It has a factory Moonroof. unfortunately it has a couple of small dings and a couple of scratches in the paint from a redbud tree branch falling on the right rear and inconsiderate people in parking lots. The interior is in incredibly good shape for its age but the drivers seat is starting to wear and there is a crack in the dash pad. This car is a daily driver and an absolute ball to drive. I built it to do an occasional autocross and some track days at Hallett (never got to Hallett though) I am asking $7900.00 for her. I will knock a $1000.00 off the price if you don't want the stereo but trust me, you will want the stereo. You can call me at 918-906-1196 my name is Sam. I can send any specific pictures you want.

I couldn't load a picture so here is the Tulsa Craigslist ad.

The first pic is from a few weeks ago and the other three were about two years ago w/ no door locks or emblems right after it was painted.

Re: 84 Z28 Hardtop/ 5speed

Looks like your ad was flagged. Also, on a side note, there was never a factory moonroof on the 1982-1992 Camaro.

Yeah I had to go back and activate it. Unfortunately you are wrong about the moonroof. I found the build sheet under the passenger front carpet when i installed the stereo. It was listed specifically as a moonroof.

Re: 84 Z28 Hardtop/ 5speed

I wanted to add a couple of things. The speedo needle is broken off but the odometer still works. The rearend was replaced with a used one just before I bought the car but at least it was replaced with the correct gear ratio. In putting the components of the engine together along with thTKO600 it was meant to run a 3.73:1 rear gear. This is about the only thing I haven't done as far as upgrades.
