Car: 1995 Formula
Engine: LT1 350
Transmission: Built 4L60e
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, Eaton posi, 3.73's
Price Reduced: Nice 1986 Z28 IROC Z Roller
Hey guys.
Tim from Wyoming here. 82601
Serious interests only please. I've done a lot of work on this car.
I've run out of time and money to finish my swap. I also have a very nice, brand new LT1 383 engine for sale. It's up on the threads here. Sorry, it's not a cheap engine because I bought nice parts....not cheap Chinese parts.
All you would need to do is find an LT1 or LS1 engine and choose your transmission and get carpet for the car plus little things like swap harness, etc. Put in an original TPI engine if you wish.
I'm sure someone would enjoy this car. Not much more needed to be done, to finish this swap project.
Pics below, plus you can see more details at my swap thread:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/ltx-...st-ever-v.html
Here are the details:
-Car has less than 65,000 original miles on it, and I have the title as well
-LS1 front brake upgrade
-stock springs which I painted, along with stock painted 36mm front sway bar and painted steering bar (see pic)
-Brand new TIMKEN wheel bearings
-4th gen gray leather seats front and rear
-Set of 4 brand new headlights 2 low and 2 high (cost me $90 shipped)
-brand new windshield (cost me $240)
-A/C delete box with blower motor and complete wiring harness (will include extra harness if you wish)
-You can run AC if you wish--your choice
-powdercoated front end parts-hubs, k member, a arms, motor mounts, etc. (this cost over $500)
-prop valve already installed for disc braked rear end (this cost me $75)
-4th gen Camaro master cylinder
-10 bolt rear on the car 3.23 gears open diff
-4th gen posi rear end will be included as well (not installed yet)
-LT1 radiator and relocated LT1 battery tray/coolant reservoir and relocated 4th gen washer fluid reservoir
-cleaned up and redone engine bay
-brand new ball joints
-New struts
-t-tops
-original 16" IROC wheels in very nice condition
-brand new Energy Suspension poly bushings up front (sway bars, a-arms, end links)
-brand new Energy Suspension motor mount bushings
-rubberized coating on interior floorpan
I have done a lot of work on this car. I installed the brake line brackets and everything like it was with the stock brakes.
I prefer to talk on the phone if you have questions. If you PM me, I will get back to you as soon as possible.
$2000.00 plus delivery charges or you can pick her up

I think this is a reasonable price for a roller with this much stuff done to it.

I cannot believe nobody has bought this yet, especially with all the nice stuff I've done to it.
Especially with less than 65,000 miles on it.
WOW
Is the third gen dead or what?

no!ur way out on the back side of nowhere for most of us.take shipping and all that into account and ur roller will cost 4000.next its gota be finished another 2000 or more.finish it and then sell it so a person can drive it home to where ever.just a thought!

Re: FS: Nice 1986 Z28 IROC "roller"
What he said^^^^. If yo were closer I would have bought it already. It is exactly what I am looking for. I live in VA and the price of the car and shipping would be more that what I want to spend on a roller.GLWS though.

even with the shipping cost, this is still a good price for this roller, with all I have done to it.

Re: Price Reduced: Nice 1986 Z28 IROC Z Roller
Well, ZZ3 Z28, I've had it on here for months and months at $2750.00
Let's see what happens now, at a price of $2000.00.
Heck, I'm not even selling it for what I spent on the brakes, powdercoating, and subframe connectors/installation.

He he he. I hear you. My wife was mad when I bought my 95 Firebird. She was also mad when I bought my beater S10 pickup this weekend, so I can tear my Firebird apart and still get to work and leave the Jeep home for her.
She always gets over it. It just takes a little time.
She will be very happy when I sell my IROC, so we can pay off the Jeep, finally.
Whoever buys this will make a beautiful woman very happy.

Thank you.
I'll sell it eventually. There has to be SOMEONE who enjoys building cars. Not too much left to do to get her running down the road.
