1992 Heritage Z28 Hardtop 5 speed !!!SOLD!!!
After thinking about it, the car served it purpose. It got me thru the power tour without a hitch. It did great, averaged 24.8 mpg (running a/c) and that was combined city and interstate. It runs good but could use a tune up as the wires look like they have age and I dont know the condition of the plugs. It also sounds like it has a little noise from the pinion bearing in the rear. I only noticed it when I was on the interstate running 75 mph and had the a/c off and windows up. At lower speeds it was not there. I was going to ask $7900 for it but since those two things are present I'll knock of $400 to $7500. 124k on the clock. Of course it has a/c, power steering, door locks, mirriors, seats, cruise, tilt, 305 5 speed, am/fm cd player (cd does not work) aftermarket fm modulator (hidden), fog lights, customer ordered with silver wheels (that were polished at some point) and the list goes on. Look at the RPO code picture. The thing even has a factory engine block heater but was ordered out of Gainesville, FL. Interior is rip and crack free. All the gauges work as well as lights, signals and horn. The high beams dont come on though and I think that is in the switch. No rust on this car and it wears the original paint. I've done the coolant bypass (did'nt notice a difference in anything), put in a new thermostat, alternator and twin K&N filters. The flowmaster exhaust sounds good but has factory tailpipes out the back. It is a good, unmolested, clean late build car from Van Nuys 7-7-92. I have some repair and mileage logs as well as a car cover and a factory service manual for it. The car will come with two sets of factory keys, owners manual and a clean/clear title in my name. I doubt the interior has ever been out so the build sheet should be in there somewhere. Not really interested in trades unless you have a second gen Camaro or a 67-78 Firebird, Trans Am or Formula. Thanks for looking. PM is the best way. And to those that are not in the market and like to browse. If you have a problem with my price or description just PM me to let me know. No need to become enemies and start a flame war in a for sale post. Thanks for looking.

In great condition. I'll have to pull the paperwork but the clutch was done at 92k if I remember correctly. You can tell. The car just did a 2600 mile trip with ease. Drive it anywhere with ac. In Friday rush hour traffic in Dallas TX with the ac running the car never touched 220 and oil pressure holds at 30 psi warm idle and goes to 55-60 running down the road. Lots of life left in this car or a perfect platform being truly unmolested.

Would you consider putting up some cash my way with your camaro?

Bump up to the top. I did not hear the whine noise and one person that drove it said it is normal manual transmission noise. I've never owned a manual before and before the power tour I never drove with the windows up in it.

Thanks to Damon for accurately describing this car. He is an honest guy and was a pleasure to deal with. Car and I just arrived home in fine shape. I finally have another really, really nice Z for the first time since 1984!!
