1987 Camaro 2.8L V6 - $1500
Hello,
I have a 2 owner 1987 Camaro 2.8L V6 Auto for sale in CT. I'm looking for $1500.
Body:
The body is in decent shape (needs paint, especially the front bumper). It has small chips and rust where it has chipped. Right behind the t-tops a strong rain storm caused the paint to chip so I used spray paint to protect it. You can view this in the pictures I provide.
Interior:
Comes with a modern radio (USB, AUX, remote), and 4 new kicker speakers installed.
Driver seat has 2 rips, otherwise the interior is clean. Heat works, A/C is converted and works as good as a converted r-134 system will.
Engine:
It has roughly 114,000 original miles and the transmission still shifts smoothly.
It has been converted to DIS and a 165 ECM. I am using a ford MAF for it's air intake system. It has been running as a daily 40 miles a day, 5 days a week driver with no problems.
It has a new harmonic balancer, timing set, engine mounts, transmission mount, rear shocks, water pump, power steering pump, alternator, exhaust donuts, intake manifold gaskets, valve covers, spark plugs, wires, battery, hoses, oil pan gasket, TCC solenoid, radiator, thermostat, new calipers, rotors, front bearings, front brake pads, rear brake shoes and springs, and a new exhaust system from the y-pipe back.
New heater core, hoses, A/C compressor, orifice tube, A/C dryer, etc. Heat and A/C work.
I also replaced the steel drive shaft for an aluminum drive shaft.
Tires and Rims:
It comes with 4 new cooper CS4 tires (8 months old, $500) and a spare set of 4 snow rims and 4 new General Altimax Artic tires (4 months old, $500).
Misc:
I have many spare parts that I will throw in. I have the distributor, original gauge cluster, EGR, EGR solenoid, original Camaro mats, to name a few.
More Pictures:

The only reason why I am selling my Camaro is because I just graduated from college and currently, I work too much and no longer have the time to maintain the interior and exterior. I think $1500 is a fair price for a solid running Camaro with new snow/summer tires.
Feel free to PM me or e-mail me at xxxchrisgxxx@yahoo.com

The front paint is chipped and spider cracked...but it's just the bumper. It has a bra over it so can't really provide much detail there. The roof is spray painted behind the t-tops from the drivers side end of the t-top to passenger side end of the t-top.

Re: 1987 Camaro 2.8L V6 - $1500
I am in Bristol, CT.
I can post some more interior photos later on today. The rear seats are in great condition. The carpet in the back is in great condition, and just needs a deep cleaning in the front. The center console compartment door has a crack on the top from the sun.
The spare tire is in there. The rear defogger works, trunk motor works and was recently cleaned and re-greased. All the lights works, blinkers, etc.
Just a note to anyone interested, this is my daily driver to and from work. I will not have my second vehicle until the end of March so I am looking to show it around March 27, 28th and forward.

Would a V-8 small block bolt up to the transmission?

Yes it is. I am going to need it until early May though.
I just found out the order for my new car has been delayed.
