1989 Camaro 54,000 original miles. Red with T Tops
Put 60 miles on it this year. Put 200 on it last year. Put 100 the year before. It just sits. Covered in the garage. I put alot of money in this car and have kids, farm and other hobbies that take priority. Time for it to see a new home. It was an 89 rs v6. My grandparents bought it new. Rarely drove it. Never been out in rain storms. Never seen snow. Original paint.
I bought it and redid the chassis like a z28 or iroc would be. 305 tpi speed density with lt1 cam. Bored .030 over. New bearings, pistons, valves, seats, wrist pins, oil pump, gaskets and seals. Maybe 1,000 miles on it.
Built 700r4. Koleen steels and discs. Transgo shift kit. 2800 stall converter. More details available if needed.
373 gears with a limited slip. Ls1 disc rear brakes.
New shocks and struts, large sway bars. Steering stabilizer. Have strut tower also. Not installed but included.
Leather interior in perfect shape. Interior is perfect.
I swapped wires at c100 connector. Nothing is hacked. Looks factory and operates factory. Even bought the plus sensor to cable adapter to keep cable drive speedo working and miles correct and keep lock out in trans working. Speedo is acurate also.
Swapped out proportion valve for brakes since it was originally a drum axle. 60% front 40% rear now instead of 80/20.
Converted a/c to 134a and yes it works. Gotta have ac.
Fans have their own controller. 190 on and 180 off.
Msd ignition, coil. 8mm wires. Rapid fire acdelco plugs. Headers and 3" polished stainless exhaust.
Added fog lights.
All guages work. Factory guages.
New remachined keystone factory rims. I ordered 4 fronts so the rears sit as wide as fronts. I dont need the offset for snow traction.
Ive spent money in car. It runs great. Sounds nice and have been a blast. Sad to see it go but these arent made for sitting.
8,500 obo
