Low mile 87 IROC
Anyone seen this one or does anybody here own it?

I'm oddly attracted to this car - if it had the TPI I'd probably be hooking up the trailer & hitting the road.

Re: Low mile 87 IROC
You'd need to be very careful with one and check the RPO codes for B4Z. Without that it's not real. I'm losing some of my 3rd gen memory but in 87 TPI 305 or 350 was the only option and from 86 on it was TPI only. Even in 85 I don't remember the IROC ever having the LG4 as a possibility and only had either 305 TPI or L69 305. Seems like a very nice clone though.

Re: Low mile 87 IROC
I seem to recall 87 being the last year for a carb? Someone correct me if I'm wrong... And 3000 worth of exhaust? Lmao! Because there's one currently in the classifieds I checked. New gmmg exhaust is 750. Soooo, $2000 headers?!

Car: 1987 Black IROC-Z (SOLD)
Re: Low mile 87 IROC
LG4 was the standard engine on the 1987 IROC-Z28 with the 305 TPI ($749.00 extra) & 350 TPI ($1150.00 extra). Note: these two TPI's were EXTRA COST OPTIONS and NOT standard on any IROC-Z28.

Re: Low mile 87 IROC
the hose is likely the dealer installed fix for fuel boiling issues. should include a fan that blows cool air toward the carburetor.

Car looks legit and original, except for the silver-covered radio *****. Radio with tape deck probably came from another car.
