1985 IROC-Z 355 6 Speed $6500 OBO
1985 IROC Z, I have had this car since I turned 16 and my father had it for 6 years before that. I had the car listed on here last year for sale but I couldn't bring myself to sell it. I have only put about 50 miles on the car in the last 3 years so I think it's actually time to let it go. If I can not sell the car it will set in the garage until I get an itch work on it again. This car has 4 wheel disk brakes, manual windows, manual seats and it is a hard top.

Engine:
355 with a T56 six speed. The motor started as a four bolt main block with flat top pistons. It was topped off with World Products Sportsman II heads, solid flat tappet Comp cam (specs are .501/.510 lift and duration at .050 is 236/242), Weiand intake, 750 Holley carb, 1.5 roller rockers, a MSD Distributor, Headman headers, and a Magnaflow Exhaust. It also has a Ram aluminum flywheel, mini starter and an electric fuel pump. I had nitrous on the car but it was never used.
Suspension:
All new bushings and steering components. It has Founders Performance panhard bar, trailing arms, and KYB adjustable shocks attached to a 1996 Camaro rearend with 4:11 gears and posi traction. I have installed a set of LS1 front brakes and a Hydroboost power brake system.
Interior:
The interior is about a 7.5 out of 10. The driver seat has a small hole and the oil pressure and temperature gauge doesn't work. I have installed an A pillar gauge with an oil pressure and temperature gauges.
Body:
The paint on the car is about a 7 out of 10, it has spots where the front fascia has drug on the road. The body is in excellent condition. It sets on 17X8 American Racing Torque Thrust M wheels with 275/45R17 tires on the front and 295/45R17 Mickey Thompson Drag Radials.
Needs:
Emergency brake cables, rear caliper (it works but the little ear where the emergency brake cable attaches is broke) and it needs a converter for the speedometer. The car has a mechanical 145mph speedometer and the transmission has and electrical speedo drive.
