I was being funny Jeremy. It is a nice car though. Over priced for sure.
Start watching the cars that start going up for sale in the next few months. Salvage flood cars with "washed" titles.
Just be cautious.

Re: Way too much for this car?
Yeah I think ppl that go to them websites probably have more money than brains club...I think I got ripped of when I bought my IROC-Z a few months ago...didn't know **** about the cars...yeah it ran...but running and running good and having all the little things working right has cost me lots of money I'd rather not discuss lol...I wont say I have more money than brains...but I think I probably overpaid by about 3K on my car....considering what I have done to it to get it in really good mechanical running condition. Of course now I'm rambling, sorry

Funny that so much underneath is blacked out. Could be hiding an undercoating, or be undercoating for that matter. Seems undercoating varies from one "installer" to another. Some hit target areas, some spray everything that's not visible with the hood closed, I suppose it's possible some take a bit more time and do the complete underside.

Re: Way too much for this car?
That interior is definitely unique.. no power windows either!?
This is a pretty base IROC for a really high price. At least it's TPI
If it was a loaded 5.7L I could see $30k especially being the first year of the 5.7
I see a lot of low mile 305 auto IROCs out there.. I always find it strange that the more common IROCs were the ones that were preserved..
I guess if you bought a 5.7L you drove it!

Cars like this always make me think some nerrrd bought it as an investment, never intending to drive in, so he skimps on options so he's not spending too much on a car he's not going to drive. But the joke's on them, because 30 years later, still no one wants an Iroc with crank windows and base interior.
