1991 RS restoswap project
Gauging interest because a divorce is coming, bought a GT350 and im losing interest.......
What I have in reality is an awesome pile of parts and a clean rust free California car.
1991 Camaro RS originally a v6 car with 125k on the odo. Purchased for $700 in 2015
Car is currently a rolling chassis in mockup
Car has been stripped of everything 1991 and professionally cleaned and degreased. It has a new fender, front end, chin spoiler, 91 z28 Hood, (1 z28 spoiler. All new hardware. Still needs RS spoiler holes filled and body work on doors. Interior has had a z28 145mph speedo installed, and a hard cover dash overlay installed. Windshield is crack free, the back glass was replaced at some point in the cars life.
So far whats installed-
Underhood was stripped sanded and was painted White. Battery tray was recently removed, and good condition battery tray has been acquired but not welded in.
ALL NEW PARTS! NO JUNK
Up front- Spohn Tubular K-member, A-arms w/ delalum bushings, Eibach Pro springs, Koni adjustable front struts, Adjustable tower mounts, Bigbrakes C6 13" Brake upgrade, Real c5 z06 17" wheels on NEW Nitto NT05 275/40r17s, new hollow Iroc sway bar, spohn wonder bar, New Stainless brake lines, 1LE prop valve, new 2002 brake booster, fabbed u-joint steering shaft, 12:1 CJR steering box w/ 6AN fittings, 2002 ws6 pedal box for 6-speed conversion, Tick adjustable clutch master cylinder.
Out back- 2002 F-body rear end w/3.42, Koni Adjustable shocks, Eibach pro springs, Spohn Panhard bar, adjustable lowers, Spohn Torque Arm, C5 Z006 18" wheels with NEW 295/40r18 NItto NT05s
What I still have in boxes and on the shelf-
Freshly Built T56 with monster clutch and flywheel
Plug and play LS swap harness
5.3 Block for mockup
Built 6.0- Stock crank, lunati SS rods, DSS forged pistons, ported 243 heads, 248/248 cam, jessel rockers, all unassembled.
Holley Hi ram for cathedral ports
F-body Accessories, Ac, PS, Alternator
F-body oil pan, professionally modified with oil fittings for turbo
Speed Engineering 1 7/8s long tube headers
Custom 4th gen black leather seats, and door panels, LSX embroidered on headrest. Done by Princess at lethal interiors
Probably have other stuff in boxes Im forgetting about.....
Also have a S$%T ton of stock parts and interior parts that would go with the car.
What the car needs- Finish being assembled, Paint, and a fuel system in whatever order you choose.
I have about $12k to 15k in parts maybe more. I don't really want to take anything off and would prefer to sell it all together.
