I have a one year only silver iroc-z z28 with 86k miles. I think only less than 500 or so were made in this color in 85'.
the car is all original, no modifications. 305 tpi, 700r4, blk interior..
the transmission is the only problem, I only have 1st gear and rev, the car run strongs, trans shop says it needs a rebuild.
asking 7k or obo with the rebuild or 5k without it, the shop says it cost 1300 for a rebuild..

Not to knock you or the car at all as it's one of my favourite colour combinations, but it needs a transmission, has damage in one of the most difficult areas to repair, has an engine light on, and I see some rust on the passenger side A pillar that I'm willing to bet has already destroyed the metal under the ttop weather stripping. Add on the rest of the minor cosmetics needed, as well as the interior looking a bit tired, and this car is asking for a complete overhaul. If you want to get the 4K that you're asking, get the car driving and tight mechanically. Until then though, it probably won't sell until your price starts with a 1

I agree with some of the stuff u said, but the check engine light doesn't come on and there is no rust underneath, also the interior is very clean, ill have to post more pics..

Even if there isn't, there's still quite a bit on the a pillars, which will call for a decent amount of work to repair properly. As for the interior, worn out steering wheel with no horn button, broken plastic, no radio.. and the engine light is on in the interior pics. Just saying this car could LOOK a lot more attractive than it does in the current pics.

Also, is that a 454 OBS behind this car in your driveway??

Yeah, the plastic/rubber trim that's supposed to finish off the edge of the glass doesn't appear to be installed.

also, I have been getting a lot of low numbers which is crazy so I just ignore them, I know the car isn't in prestine condition but its not a rust bucket either. like I said in the description, this is a rare, 1 year only silver metallic original mileage iroc-z with black interior, only other color was red. from what I read on tgo, poss less than a 1000 made. I ve only seen about 4 or 5 others in the 10 years ive owned this one. so will a little tlc, this iroc could be one of nicest... thanks to everyone that peeped it and need more pics...
