Hi tealman92. Thanks for the response and the question. My car has all of the factory emissions control devices, including EGR system. All emissions control devices are present (at the factory location), intact, fully functional, and fully effective. I certify the car for emissions by taking it to a STAR Station, presenting the DMV paperwork, and letting the technician inspect and test the vehicle. I have done this, with the car in its current configuration, every two years for the past eight years (four tests, four passes). I have the test results from the past two inspections (maybe more if I dig a little), showing that the vehicle passed visual, functional and on-rollers tailpipe inspections and test. Tailpipe emissions are all well within allowable standards, some are even less than the average car that passes in California. I will need to have the car certified for the sale, and, I will be more than happy to meet with a prospective buyer (when a deal is firmed-up) at the STAR Station so that the test and certification process can be witnessed.
Where is the egr system for the stealth ram? And you never had to present them with the carb OE number or paperwork? Bad *** car man. Down here in SoCal they have pictures of stock engine bays and question everything. Its a bit ridiculous.
I'm in So Cal, near Valencia. Stop by and take a look at the car. The EGR System is below the plenum, just like on a TPI intake, except the EGR valve is inverted and mounted to the bottom of the plenum, to route exhaust gasses to the plenum / intake airstream. Here's another engine shot:
